The World Youth Festival, the largest youth event in the world, was held in Sochi at the federal territory “Sirius” during a week, starting on the 1st of March, 2024. About 20 000 Russian and foreign participants could join different workshops, lectures, sport events and concerts, and had discussions and dialogs in such fields as international cooperation, culture, business, media, science, education, charity and volunteering, sports and various areas of public life.

Vologda SDFA was represented by Grigotiy Ugrumov - the chief of the department of youth policy implementation, Daniil Kovalev – trainer of the department of Physical Education; and the academy students: Anastasiia Sinenkaia, Milena Nikulicheva and Elizaveta Zaitseva.

All participants found the activities according to their interests. They listened to professional speakers, coaches, famous sportsmen, actors and media people. And most of all they liked the opportunity to talk with young people from other counties.
