Epizootic situation on parasites of small ruminants under the conditions of the Vologda region
The article describes the results of a study of the parasitofauna of small ruminants in the Vologda Region. Parasitizing of 13 species of helminths belonging to 2 classes Cestoda and Nematoda has been established in sheep. Infection of sheep with helminths of Strongylata makes 16.6 to 100%. The species composition of goat helminths in the private subsidiary farms of the Vologda Region is represented by 9 types of helminths belonging to the Nematoda class.

Features of natural resistance and physiological-biochemical status in calves with diarrhea signs
The aim of the study is to establish correlation links between the indices of natural resistance, morpho-biochemical and coagulation blood composition in calves.
Black-and-white calves up to 30 days old have been divided into 2 groups: healthy calves and calves with dyspepsia. Hematological and statistical methods of investigation are used in the work.

Intensive production technology of a lactulose-based feed additive with high bifidogenic activity
The article describes the prebiotic action mechanism, in particular lactulose. The article presents the production technology of lactulose syrups. The authors give the results of using the lactulose-based prebiotic additive with weaned piglets.
The effect of yeast products on the milk production of cows
The article presents the study results of the effect of the yeast supplements “Optisaf” and “Progut Rumen” on the productivity and quality milk indicators from highly productive cows. It has been established that at the doses recommended by the manufacturer, their use improves the eatability of feed of the basic diet, increases the milk productivity and leads to an increase in the mass fraction of fat.
The effect of additives based on fodder yeasts on some biochemical indicators of blood in lactating cows
The article presents the results of studying the effect of yeast-based feed additives on metabolism of lactating cows. It has been stated that in the doses recommended by the manufacturer they do not have a negative impact on metabolism. The use of fodder yeasts allows to optimize the level of protein metabolism in animals.
