Influence of the polymorphism complex of κ-casein (CSN3) and prolactin (PRL) genes on the milk productivity of the holstein first calf heifers

The presented study is dedicated to the influence of the polymorphism complex of κ-casein (CSN3) and prolactin (PRL) genes, which are responsible for milk quality and milk productivity. The study was carried out among Holstein first calf heifers by Integrated Agricultural Production Centre “Breeding farm named after Lenin” of Atninsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. DNA samples were separated from blood samples of 261 cows for identification and genotyping according to kappa-casein and prolactin genes by PCR-RFLP analysis method.

Influence of harvesting time of cereal crops on the productivity and the quality of the forage in the conditions of the European North of Russia

The article presents the results of studies on the impact of grain harvesting on the productivity, species composition, nutritional value of grain fodder for 2001-2005. The highest productivity is provided by grains during harvesting in the early phase of wax ripeness of grain. The obtained grain is successfully stored when creating hermetic conditions and using biological and chemical preservatives. Losses during the storage of wet plum grain when using the preservative Biotrof 600 and spruce needles are reduced by 1.5-2.0 times.

The formation of spring triticale structure with different sowing rates

The article discusses the influence of different sowing rates on the spring triticale yield structure in the conditions of Vologda region. The studies are conducted with various seeding rates on the varieties of spring triticale approved for using in the North-West region - Crest and Ukro. The result is that the different seeding rates have a significant effect on the grain yield of spring triticale.

The productivity of winter rye on sod-podzolic light loamy soil by using fertilizers and a microbiological preparation

The results of field research conducted on soddy-podzolic light loam soil in the Vologda region established that the use of fertilizers significantly increased the yield of winter rye grain both against the background of the flavobacterin biofungicide and without its use. Depending on the doses of fertilizers and bacterialization with a microbiological preparation, the productivity of straw of winter rye naturally increased, the content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium in the production increased, the collection of crude protein by grain and the productivity in feed units increased.

The effect of agrometeorological conditions on the productivity of promising spring triticale varieties

In State Dairy Farming Academy of Vologda Abstract. The article deals with the effect of climatic conditions on growth, developlment and yield of spring triticale varieties in the conditions of the Vologda region. The research was carried out on the following varieties: Scallop, Norman, Ukro, and Amigo. In the research the dates corresponding to the beginning of phenological phases of triticale growth and development have been revealed, yield structure elements and grain quality indices have been defined.

Formation of oats productivity under the influence of mineral nutrition background and foliar dressing with preparation Izabion

Тhe investigations were conducted in the Tver region, on the sod medium sandy loam well cultivated soil, there were studied the features of formation of oats productivity under the influence of mineral nutrition background and foliar dressing with preparation Izabion (1 - effective fertility, 2 and 3 and NPK on 3.5 and 4.5 tons of grain per 1 ha).

Economic justification of using sugar beet harvesters

The article analyzes advantages and disadvantages of the main types of sugar beet combines and presents comparative economic efficiency of their use in modern conditions. Economic efficiency estimate of sugar beet combines is based on estimation of production processes, the main criterion of which is saving operating costs per unit. Economic efficiency of using sugar beet combines has been determined on the basis of calculating operating costs per unit of work, according to the data of the Tambov oblast, Michurinsky district sugar beet farms.

Economic designing elements of dairy farming

The aspects, influencing the effective functioning of the dairy farming are considered: profitability in dairy cattle breeding, cattle breed, the territory, that must be provided with products of dairy cattle, the territory for the construction of the dairy complex. It was established, that with a high productivity of cattle, the ratio of the cost to the cost of selling the product has a dominant role in determining profitability. The permissible limits of the deviation of the profitability increase were determined.

The efficiency of foliar dressings with nano-preparations in increasing the productivity and stability of potatoes to diseases and weeds

As a result of complex investigations conducted in the Tver region in 2013-2015 on well-cultivated soddy medium podzolic sandy loam soil the peculiarities of forming bio-resistance and productivity in three potato varieties (Lyubava, Krasavchik, Nikulinskiy) under the influence of foliar dressings with AgBion-2 and NanoGro preparations having different working liquid concentrations have been studied.
