The article presents studies of nanofiltrate-curd whey concentrate

samples as well as its calculated nutritional and caloric value. It shows the expediency of

using nanofiltrate-curd whey concentrate in the production of functional dairy products.

Influence of bulls on the reproduction indicators of daughters taking into account their productivity

The presented study is dedicated to the influence of the polymorphism complex of κ-casein (CSN3) and prolactin (PRL) genes, which are responsible for milk quality and milk productivity. The study was carried out among Holstein first calf heifers by Integrated Agricultural Production Centre “Breeding farm named after Lenin” of Atninsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. DNA samples were separated from blood samples of 261 cows for identification and genotyping according to kappa-casein and prolactin genes by PCR-RFLP analysis method.

Change in feeding value of wheat under the action of magnesium and zinc complexanates

В лабораторных условиях и полевом опыте исследована возможность увеличения кормовой ценности яровой пшеницы при использовании комплексных соединений магния и цинка на основе этилендиаминдиянтарной кислоты. Обнаружено, что комплексонат цинка эффективно увеличивает содержание фотосинтетических пигментов в зелёных частях растений, белка в зерне и урожайность пшеницы. Комплексонат магния в несколько меньшей степени влияет на эти показатели.

Exterior features and milk quality of Saanen goats

The purpose of this research was to determine the relation between the exterior characteristics of Saanen goats and their milk productivity. We have studied the Saanen goats population having the body development in accordance with the breed standard. For adult goats the height at the shoulder was 75.4cm as compared to the standard height of 75cm; the height at the hips - respectively 75.7 and 76cm; the body length - 80.2 and 81cm; the chest girth - 86.6 and 88cm. So, the goats showed the optimal index of lengthiness and blockiness for these animals of 109% and 107% respectively.
